I volunteer with an organization that feeds the hungry/homeless. Would "soup kitchen" volunteer be an appropriate title for the W/A section? I feel like that is too slang or informal.

Soup kitchen works for me, as it's universally understood. Do you like "Free Meal Center" better?

I like Soup kitchen because it's understood that its meant for the homeless and hungry, which I think is missing form "Free meal center". Just wanted to make sure that "Soup kitchen" wasn't an inappropriate or slang term! Thanks Catalystik!

I agree that "Free Meal Center" would be open to misinterpretation.
