As I understand it, if I took the CS (instead of CSA) then my ECFMG Certificate is valid indefinitely, and I don't need to apply for the permanent validation sticker, is this correct?

"For applicants who satisfy the clinical skills requirement for ECFMG Certification by passing Step 2 CS, this passing performance is not subject to expiration for the purpose of entering programs of graduate medical education."
Those of us who took the old CSA exam before June 2001 had the option of applying for the Valid Indefinitely sticker.
