I am looking to buy a Holter monitor system for research purposes and figured I would start here to see if anybody had opinions based on systems they have used.

I am looking at Welch-Allyn, GE, Burdick, and Cardioline holter monitors. I am doing research where heart rate variability is evaluated and these are the only systems I have found which can sample 1000 times per second, which is ideal for HRV.

I am not a clinician, but there is a possibility this system would be used to gather data which would then be shared with clinicians for them to use for diagnostics. However, the main application is research in healthy individuals.

I am looking for any experiences others have with these, or any other digital holter system. The software interface and customer service will both be important factors in my decision.

Or, if anybody has recommendations for a better message board to visit to get feedback from users about the monitors themselves and the software from cardiologists, I am interested in that also.

Any help?

Thank you!
