Echinocandins cause cutaneous flushing

First Aid says one of the drugs causing cutaneous flushing is Echinocandins (anti fungal agent).
Any idea why?

Any idea why?

Echinocandins cause histamine-release like symptoms (flushing etc). The mechanism is not clear (in 4-5 reviews in pubmed it is only referred as histamine-release like symptoms).
