Hey guys most of the preparation books don't seem to cover Ecology, evolution and other natural sciences . The most i've seen being covered was some evolution terms where it is just memorization. Does any body know any good resources to read to get a general understanding about these topics in an MCAT perspective?

You could try the Cliffs AP Biology review book, that has some pretty good in depth information

Evolution is not covered in-depth on the MCAT, although it is always good to understand the principles of evolution since it is so fundamental to biology. Ecology is even less of an issue on the MCAT, although you might want to know the very basic things about a food chain.

The end of Examkrackers Bio gives a pretty good overview of all that you may need to know about ecol/evol/pop. genetics for the MCAT. I'm pretty sure it's the entire last chapter, actually.
