From everyone's feedback it seems the DAT puts a little more emphasis on the Ecology/Plants/Animals vs. what is covered by Kaplan. So, my question would be what kind of detail should be known for these topics (e.g., knowing detailed things such as in Angiosperms there is Protoderm, Ground Meristem and Procambium which give rise to differing tissues vs. just knowing basic things like Xylem/Phloem, Meristems, Microsporangia vs. Megasporangia).

I know the idea is to know a lot of detail about everything, but seeing as my test is only about 3 weeks away that is not very realistic. I have been studying other parts of Bio from Kaplan and do pretty well in that, but just need to gauge how to prepare for the less covered topics.

Thanks for your help!!

what do you mean 3 weeks isn't enough to review a couple concepts? I only studied for about 2 weeks for the DAT altogether...

also, kaplan isn't good enough for plants b/c it is not covered at all...do yourself a favor and pick up an AP bio book or something and start reading. i promise it won't take 3 weeks, at least i hope not 🙂

Thanks for your replies, well Bio is my strongest science section, but chem/ochem are weak for me, so I planned on spending signficant amounts of time on them in relation to Bio. I have already spent time studying all those topics from other sources besides Kaplan.

Since this is the second time I am taking it, I am just a little more worried about everything, thus I am trying to cover everything possible these next 3 weeks.......
