Editing Personal statement?

Hi everyone
I just wrote rough draft of my personal statement, and I'm not too confident about it.. (my writing sucks.)
Besides, my essay is 3 pages long, and I don't know how to make it shorter! I really need professional editing but all I know is Essayedge.
Would someone recommend this? or are there any other really good editing services?

That's the list of readers on this forum who can help you. I can as well. I would ask friends, family members, coworkers, etc to look over it too. Not worth paying for IMO.
