Hi all,

Yes, I am learning Biochemistry on my own for the MCAT before taking my college class, but I have plenty of time (7 months) before the MCAT so I decided this is what I will do.

So it seems like the edX HarvardX FREE Principles of Biochemistry course is very well put together, with comprehension checks along the way and covering most of the stuff on the MCAT as well as a bit more without going into too much detail. I have finished section 2.1 and it was enjoyable to go through although it seemed a little basic. It is very easy if you just do the questions, but if you put in the effort to memorize what you need to memorize it can be comprehensive.

To learn Biochemistry right now, I bought the Kaplan Biochemistry Review Book to follow along with the course and I alternate between the two. This is proving to be good so far, since there are things that are not on the MCAT in the course, and things not in the course that will be on the MCAT. So I will be covering all my bases.

Anyone know about this course, or has used it?
