If you apply to a foreign medical school...lets say SGU...and you are accepted, and you end up deciding you will do an SMP and respectfully decline admission, how will that affect your application to SGU the next year while you are also applying to US medical schools after having completed the SMP?

no, no one knows. applying to the carib should be your last option cause chances are you'll get accepted. but there are plenty of applicants who'd be happy to take your spot so if you decline you might not get another chance again.
