I just did ek 101 and my scores dropped starting from test 8-9 onward. I've heard this happens to many people so I wasn't too worried about it.

But I was just wondering, especially on test 14 but throughout the book, I see a lot of tricky questions. Now, I know there'll be some on the real mcat, but on a given practice test I'd say at least HALF, if not more, of these questions are extraordinarily tricky never mind that the answer explanations are also terrible, i'm just talkin bout the questions themselves. My question is...on the actual mcat, is the proportion of similarly tricky questions as high?

that's all, thanks and gl to everyone taking the test this week (glad i'm not!)

Yeah, my scores started dropping after halfway through the book (the last two tests are ridiculous IMO). I think the real MCAT verbal would be most similar to the AAMC verbal (as that's what all the MCAT takers say), which has pretty straightforward questions.

would you say that the trickiest they'd probably get would the aamc guide questions? I think you posted something earlier about them being a lil tricker

There were probably 2 questions in the guide that I thought were tricky, but I mean tricky relative to the AAMC tests. Nothing ridiculous like some EK questions. Other than that, they were pretty straightforward. I think a lot of people would agree that some of the EK answers are very debatable.

That is good to hear, I'm feeling pretty confident about the verbal if that's the case.

Pookiez, what are you doing the last couple days before your test?

My test is tomorrow. I'm about to go to sleep soon. What did I do today? I burned my damn thumb, which is killing me 😡 Other than that, I reviewed lightly. Watched tv, relaxed. Yesterday I took AAMC 10. Just taper off the studying during ur last couple of days and relax.

I agree with sv3, chill and get off this site! SDN will just stress ya out.

Do something you enjoy, don't be completely passive, stay somehow active mentally. Whether thats playing music or a game or something, watching a documentary, whatever floats your boat.

A f'in MEN.... I would go so far as to say that some of them are not debateable but just plain BS 😎
