I started using the schedule, didnt really work for me. The 30 min tests are really too difficult for the MCAT (although that doesnt mean you should disregard them completely) a few hours of looking at a chapter doesnt really prepare you to take them, especially if you're weak in that area. For example I've missed exactly 3 questions total from organic chem in the four AAMC practices I've taken (8-11), but of the two EK organic 30 min tests I've taken I've gotten 10s in each.
After about 1 months of basically underlining stuff in the books and not really learning it I stopped using the schedule and did it my way, which was basically do one subject at a time, write out everything I underlined and then review it (learn it until I can recite from memory then rewrite from mostly memory taking visual cues when needed). Then I moved on to another subject. I basically did this for bio, physics and gen chem (didnt really feel I needed it for organic) and then moved on to BR practice passages. I did about 15+ passages a day for 3 weeks, reviewing the BR chapters daily, and then started taking AAMC full lengths.
This schedule seemed to work for me. Honestly I think EK's time estimates alone dont mesh. EK imo is good enough for bio, the first half of physics, organic and verbal. But all of gen chem is really weak and optics, electrical and waves need extra review and practice for sure, but you can get that from khanacademy if you had to.
