This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Biology: 1. EK Bio (for content) + BR Bio (for passages and further topic depth if needed) 2. TPR Hyperlearning, detail oriented 3. Kaplan

Physics
: 1. BR 2. Nova 3. TPR Hyperlearning 4. EK/Kaplan

Verbal: 1. EK Verbal + EK 101 Verbal 2. TPR Hyperlearning Verbal Workbook3. BR 4. Kaplan (Avoid if possible)

Organic Chemistry: 1. BR, by far 2. TPR Hyperlearning 3. EK/Kaplan

General Chemistry: 1. BR, by far 2. TPR Hyperlearning 3. EK/Kaplan

Extra Practice Material: 1. TPR Hyperlearing Science Workbook, good source of practice passages 1. AAMC Official Guide to the MCAT Exam (most representative material available) 2. EK 1001 series, helps nail down basics

I currently have the EK set...but should I get the BR set also? I heard that it has too much excess info, but I would like to get a very good score and I have less than 3 months to prepare. :scared:

If you want to understand the material instead of just memorizing the equations listen to SN2ed and go with Berkeley Review. I started with EK but found it insufficient so I switched to BR and haven't looked back. It has done wonders for my understanding, and has the practice questions to help the material stick.

TBR is amazing. The only dense material in TBR is the bio, which is still worth the read as it gives you the background for everything! Great books. I've heard TPRH is already good. EK Bio is awesome as well.

I have EK bio and physics
and the rest TPR

My exam is end of July (iA)...do you think I should get TBR?

Well EK bio is a great book, and if you already have the TPRH stuff then I think your fine (alot of people say TPR is a great study source).

So, I guess there is a consensus that I should also get BR on top of EK. Which BR books should I get? Should I just get the o-chem, chem, and physics since EK bio + verbal seems good enough?

Thanks for all the input!

If you are just getting the EK verbal def get another book for more passages.
