Do the tests get progressively harder from 1-14? I've noticed a sharp decline in my verbal performance as of lately and I don't know what else to attribute it to other than maybe me being tired. I usually average around 12 wrong, but at this rate its like 20+. At least that's what happened on my last verbal which I tried to think of it as an anomoly and now I cant even get through a test without being frustrated - all the sudden i can't grasp what I'm reading and I have to go back to the passage numerous times and still cant find what I'm looking for.

I think the passages might be slightly more difficult, but I haven't noticed that significant of an increase in the number of questions I miss. 12 to 20 is a pretty big jump. I think they expect you to also get better at doing the passages as you go on, so I think scores should stay pretty close if not improve. I've maybe noticed that I miss on or two more questions. Although I think that's due more to the fact that the EK verbal questions are different from the Kaplan and AAMC verbal sections.

i agree with OP...

i went from a 6 (ek1) up to a high of 12 (ek 5 or 6?) and now i'm back down to a 6/7 on the ek's...on the aamc's, i'm getting 10s....

i'm thinking about not doing the ek ones anymore. i'm getting frustrated.

Well, I just use it more for practice for reading the passages. I think the question styles are very different from the AAMC verbal.

weird. I started out with 8s and went up to 11s. I've finished 12 tests in EK and I'm consistently getting 10-11. I thought they were getting easier...

Yeah Idk maybe its just the nature of the beast. I took another practice VR, this time kaplan although a lot of ppl dont like it, and got 9 wrong out of 40. I think its quite variable and im hoping for the best :xf:
