Electives for Intern Year

Maybe this has been circulated around before. But I was wondering if anyone has any tips for choosing electives for Intern Year (Peds Res) for someone who does not have a mind set to one sub-specialization or the other.
My Residency program gives us a choice for
Cardio
Pulm
Allergy Immuno
Infectious
Nephro
Heme-Onc
Genetics
GI
Endo
These I believe would be standard across the programs
My top choices for now - are Cardio & Pulm.

Do what interests you. Even if you do primary care, there are usually diseases or types of patients that you find more interesting. And the more interested you are in the subject, the more you will get out of that rotation. But no one knows whats best for you besides... you.
