Electives in Singapore, HK or Taiwan

I am a US medical student looking to do an international elective during my 4th year of medical school in either Singapore, HK or Taiwan. I can read/write/speak Mandarin. Anyone has suggestions as to how to apply for an elective and which hospitals to do it at? I would love to hear some personal experiences.
