What electives would you guys suggest during residency? I feel particularly weak in Optho and Peds but I also really want to do a community month (can only do this as elective). We do a total of four peds ED months and two peds shifts a month during our adult ED months. We also have a PICU month. We have two months of elective total. I also think a flight month would be fun but probably not as educational...
Would you guys recommend doing something relaxing/fun for elective or educational?
Do you think an Optho rotation would be useful and relevant to EM or just random boring clinic stuff? (I would be the first to do it)
