The MCAT ExamKrackers lecture on this seems too detailed. I've already outlined redox, electric potentials, half reactions and balancing them.

Do we need to now stuff about the galvanic cell, concentrated cell, chemical energy (G + RT ln (Q), all the anode, cathode stuff, etc.? It's mind numbing at this point and I'm all the way at the end of the book and feel like this might be overkill on the subject.

I took a Topscore test today for gen. chem. before studying anything just to see questions, format and what have you of what the DAT might be like. ONE question asked about cathodes and anodes in both a galvanic cell and the other one (electrolytic?) about whether the cathode or anode for each had a positive or negative charge.
