Electronic submission of apps to schools

Does the mailing date listed in AADSAS include both electronic and paper submission?

I think I read that some schools actually received electronic apps before applicants' mailing date (i.e. a school received electronic app before 7/2 even though mailing date is listed 7/2). Has anyone else from the 1st or 2nd mailing batch received confirmation from schools yet? I'm in the third mailing on 7/16.

I called AADSAS yesterday and one of the representatives told me that their 1st batch was June 25th, not July 2nd. I told him I called before and other representatives told me the 1st batch will be on July 2nd but he said they are wrong or that I heard wrong. I also told him everyone on studentdoctor.net said the 1st batch was July 2nd... He said they don't know...
