I heard that there is an electronic wax up device.
Is there anybody who knows about this?
Where can I buy this?
Thanks~!

You could probably pick one up on Ebay. It is basically an electric wax spatula. It stays hot so you don't continually have to heat it over the bunson burner. IMHO it would be overkill unless you were running a lab on the side.

I've heard of this, and I think one of my classmates tried it (they had access to one from an old job). It didn't help them any bit. Save your money for stress relieving nights out or food. Use the alcohol lamp and a spatula.

FWIW, 99% of the class used the ROH lamp, and I think 25% scored "perfect 9s" on many, if not all, of their wax ups. "Perfect" because there really is no perfect, so a 9 is as close to perfect as we will get.

The electrawaxer is very easy to use. It has many different sizes of spatula. So, you just change your tip size. It's convenient and less dangerous than the alcohol and gas flame. Our school has used the electric wax several years, and it works perfectly fine for all of us. I like it because it's small, and you can carry it home, plug up and start waxing at home. No liquid, no flame. And the tip cool down or heat up very fast.
