i got this email to the following question about transmitting applications:
AAMC,
When will applications that have already been processed be transmitted ? Pleasee don't give me the standard pre written email...they are useless

Thank you for contacting AMCAS.
The schools will begin accepting applications on July 6th. Please allow the schools the necessary time to retrieve your information. The schools are assigned a day of the week to download applications and it is up to the school to go in and download the processed application. The transmission process can take as long as two weeks. You will no longer see transmission dates on your welcome screen, you will have to monitor your email and mail boxes closely for contacts from the medical schools.
