Does Anyone know where I can get EMT Certification in Vancouver, BC? I did a google search and I couldn't find it? Do you have to take a coarse at a local community college? a hospital?

If memory serves me correctly, Canadian EMS certifications are much more involved than the American version. I would recommend going to www.traumacentral.com/forums and asking this. There are several Canadian paramedics (what they call all levels of EMS provider) on that forum. I would recommend against EMS certification as a prereq if the route is as long as I have been led to believe it is in Canada.
