EMT job?

how do I get a job????

I have an EMT-I and the local fire department requires that you be a fire fighter as well as an EMT to ride thier trucks.

the classifieds are not helping...any ideas?

Which direction do you live from Houston? There are MANY ambulance companies in Houston. You are not qualified to work for a fire department, so you will have to work for a private ambulance company. There are several private ambulance companies within Houston and in surrounding areas. There are also public paid and volunteer ambulance companies outside the city limits. I once had a list of all of the agencies, and they are easy to obtain by the web, by contacting your TDH region office, or by speaking with the school you were certified at.
