Is working as an EMT for 2+ years and ~80 hours of shadowing enough in terms of clinical experience? Should I be looking for a job as an ER tech instead of sticking with my current EMS job?

Get some hospital or clinic experience. I have colleague who consider EMT as being a glorified cab driver, unless you're a paramedic.
