EMT training with vacations.

Hi I'm 16 in CT and want to get trained to be an EMT for a part-time job. The only problem is i tend to be away a lot. I want to get started as soon as i can but I'm on vacation for a week and a half in July and a week in the middle of August. Is there any way i can make this work. Thank you, Matt

you do know that EMT's Are Categorized as basic and paramedics. to keep it simple. most EMT-Basic courses can be completed in 4 months.
the paramedic course is 1 to 2 years. if wanted to start the EMT basic program. if you miss the Aug. deadline they will surely have another course starting in Jan.

If my emt basic course, if you missed more than like 8 hours (two days) you failed. So you might want to look into that
