I've noticed a few threads about EMTs. I am taking an EMT class this summer. How do you find employment? Where do find volunteer oppurtunities? I'll be looking for volunteering in chicago if any one has some ideas, and employment in minneapolis.

Most EMS agencies post job ads on their websites.

gl with that...I've been working in MI as a basic EMT for ~8mths, and it's a lot of fun. Just watch the gpa.

you can work for a hospital as a E.R. TECH or a EMS agencies as a EMT-B.

Its pretty easy to find a place to volunteer. The quickest thing is to just search google with the name of your town + volunteer ambulance. Also , try firehouse.com (or maybe .org). good luck
