I am finished with rotations now and starting to have some anxiety over everything I have already forgotten. Any advice for some reading between now and starting Family residency in July? Atleast something to make me feel somewhat productive while sleeping in and hanging out at the gym every day.

I'm having the same anxiety. I have nightmares about being yelled at and killing pts.

Everyone keeps saying its normal, but that doesn't help. I've been just skimming first aid, step up, and my kaplan step 2 notes. I might get the UW step 3 questions closer to June. I've also been watching bates videos and skimming through physical exam stuff so I can remember that stuff too.

The anxiety is killing me.

I'm there with you. I call it being 'Senior Stupid'. All the things I used to know, gone.

my brain feels empty:
plan = first aid for the family medicine boards and a good physical exam and dx book.
where do i get these bates vids pray tell?
what makes our specialty so daunting is that it encomps. everything.
it would make studying easier if we already had our schedules, but i unfort. we dont.

good luck commrades..👍

bates vids are on youtube. you just have to search for them

Washington Manual's Internship Survival Guide
EKG books, particularly recognizing fatal arrhythmias, electrolyte abnormalities, ischemia and how to treat them.

Quit worrying. You're gonna be stupid no matter how much study. Enjoy the ride and enjoy the sun and fun.

Edit: I forgot I was in the FM forum. To add to that, I would start reviewing Harriet Lane's Pedi Handbook (same as above) and reviewing OB, particularly mechanics to a delivery and OB emergencies and fetal heart readings.
