Can someone clearly explain the diff b/w them, please?

I know that cotyledon gets the food from the endosperm (3n).. but who is responsible for feeding the "embryo" i think..?

So how would you decipher between a DIcot and a MONOcot....two cotyledons (leaves) vs one cotyledon (leaf)?

And in which plants are these characteristically found ???

Exactly, I'm pretty sure that's where the names dicot and monocot come from. I think they are found in just angiosperms and gymnosperms.

i think they are found in angiosperms only.

From wikipedia:

Gymnosperm seedlings also have cotyledons, and these are often variable in number (multicotyledonous), with from 2 to 24 cotyledons forming a whorl at the top of the hypocotyl (the embryonic stem) surrounding the plumule.

That's probably more detail then you need to know for the DAT however.
