So each aminoacyl-tRNA-synthetase uses one ATP to charge the tRNA with one amino acid, and one GTP is hydrolyzed to initiate translation? So if a polypeptide is made up of 10 Amino acids does that mean 10 ATPs and 1 GTP were used? Can anyone explain this please and when exactly we use energy in translation... And oh what catalysis the peptide bond? Which rRNA and what site (from the APE)? Thanks
