Currently a junior, undergrad, microbio/biochem major, GPA 3.8, Science GPA 3.8, will have over 200 volunteer hours when I apply, AED club, Phi Beta Kappa, approx. 1 year research microbiology., name on publication.
Due to heavy schedule of classes, ECs and research won't be able to start studying full time for MCAT until first week in May. Plan on starting content review in April. Will be taking MCAT June 29 or 30, results are Aug. 1 but I will submit application in June. Expect to get verified in mid August. Is this too late? Also, looking at volunteer hours, is that too low? Approx. 100 hours at childrens hospital, will have another 80 or more hours at school clinics, and also various hours in community (over 50) I'll have over 100 hours shadowing physicians, but also did a 250 hour shadowing/internship in high school.
Assuming I do okay on MCAT what are my chances?
