does anyone have any experience with them at all? They came to our campus and I actually liked them but I can’t find anything on them except for their surgical light popularity. Thanks
I looked at these loupes and light at a recent meeting to be used for a mission trip - they were average, but adequate for said purpose. I went forth with a contract for trial/purchase prior to upcoming mission trip. With the approaching mission trip, I said that I desired to go forth with the purchase. At which time, they gave me a price that was literally double the contract! We discussed and reviewed the contract and previous communications. I was told that management would not budge on the new year pricing. This was very disappointing to me and would question the integrity and trustworthiness of this company. My impression is that they are not professional and integrity is in question. I have discussed this with my colleagues and academic institutions & residency programs in their search for equipment.
I had my mind set on getting q-optics prismatic loupes before our loupe vendor day, but I ended up going with the Enova loupes. They were the most comfortable for me and I liked the width and depth of view they had. I’ll let you know how I end up liking them.Did they ever get you the loupes? Saw them at a local meeting and they have a nice product...
Same I just bought a pair. Best depth of field that I saw. I tried every major brand today. Update: the loupes are good, but the company itself kinda dropped the ball. One of my buddies with enova loupes broke the arm on the frame which they originally said would be replaceable free of charge, but charged him 200 bucks to send a new frame. I also insisted multiple times that my working length was too long but they kept telling me it didn’t need to be changed and that I would get used to it and to give it some more time to adapt. Two years later I still think the working length is too long, but they won’t do anything about it. Overall I could not recommend loupes from enova unless their customer service changes. Q-optics is much better IMO they will adjust the loupes for the customer basically no questions asked rather than telling the customer that they are wrong and never doing any adjustment. I’m either going to get a pair of q-optics prisms or lumadent ergoprisms next and my enova pair will just be a back up.I had my mind set on getting q-optics prismatic loupes before our loupe vendor day, but I ended up going with the Enova loupes.
