The directions are somewhat vague here:

My school did not use credit hours, we used units (1.0 units = 4.0 credit hours). Somewhere in the application instructions it says that AMCAS will automatically convert your credits/units based on the conversion your school provides. It also says to enter the credits/units EXACTLY as appears on your transcript. HOWEVER, I also read somewhere that we should check with our registrar if we are unsure of our school's conversion (why would we need to do this if they convert automatically???) There were some other ambiguities and I am just confused now.

Does anyone know for sure? Don't want to mess this up.

Thanks

why dont you just call career services at your college? im sure they have helped many people apply to AMCAS, and there is someone who can tell you exactly what to do in your specific situation.

we have a pre-med office at my college who can answer these questions. i emailed them already, havent heard back yet. thought i'd ask around here though.
