I was wondering if we had to say that a discussion section counts as a lab in our coursework history? In more detail, in our coursework section of the AMCAS application it has the option of saying this was just a lecture or lectureand lab. If my SOC 1 class included a discussion section does that count as a lab? Thanks.

I think by lab, they mean lab. =) Specifically, it probably refers to science labs: chem, bio, ochem, physics, etc. Pretty much every lecture has a discussion...I don't think it counts.
