Vaporization (boiling) = endothermic
Condensation = exothermic
Freezing = exothermic

I think of entropy and enthalpy as the same here, which may not be true, but...
Anything that causes the molecules to vibrate is endothermic, anything that causes them to stop vibrating is exothermic.

yep...like the previous poster said, I think about the energy required/released to loosen/break/form intermolecular attractions
