Epigastric pain?

Hey all!

For patients who present to your office for epigastric pain, when do you empirically treat as GERD and when do you add a brief cardiac work (i.e. EKG, Stress Test etc...). Generally, I go on Age and cardiac risk factors. I am just curious what everyone else does.
