I'm hoping to get feedback from people who have recently taken the EPPP or who have up-to-date study materials.

I'm preparing using older study guides but current exams from Academic Review. I'm getting a fair number of questions about the 3rd editions of the WISC and the WAIS on my sample tests. Is Academic Review just slow to update their materials or should I expect to primarily be tested on the third editions of the WISC and the WAIS (or expect to be tested on both the 3rd and 4th editions)? I'm trying to figure out where to concentrate my test prep efforts.

Thanks!

The 4TH edition of WAIS has been out for 5 years now. The 4th edition of WISC even longer (2005?). I dont think i had any about those on mine, but im not sure why they would still be asking about the 3rd edition

Thanks, I was hoping that would be the case.

I was wondering about the same thing today. My AATBS materials were purchased in 2013 and the books are all marked with 2013 as the publication year. However, the CD on assessment states that the WAIS-III is the latest version, which is just blatantly false. I looked closer at the CDs and they are marked 2010. Even so, the WAIS-IV has been out since 2008. It seems odd that a company focusing on test prep would sell materials with such outdated information.

Don't blame AATBS, Academic Review, or Psyc Prep. I took the EPPP in 2012 and they still contained questions related to WAIS-III, and a comparison of WAIS-III vs. WAIS-IV (or maybe WISC-III vs. WISC-IV). The EPPP is a sad exam. WISC-IV has been out for 10 years now and WAIS-IV for 5.
