equine internship for foreigns

Hello,

I'm new here. I know there ara a lot of topics about internship, but I couldn' find an equine internship for foreigns. I want to do an internship in Canada or USA, but of course first I should know which places accept foreigners, to do externships. I've sent emails to all the universitys and private hospitals I found of USA and Canada, and a few of them answer me, so I'm in the same place...

Anyone knows a little more about equine internships?

Most universities will usually not take foreign applicants because of the visa situation (hard to get, expensive and sponsorship doesn't always get approved). You may be able to go the private practice route, but Hagyard is really the only place that I know of that can take international applicants (they usually have half a dozen per year). Check the AAEP jobs website for internships, they'll usually have a few posted around this time. I think Milton Equine in Ontario also takes international applicants.

I've known about this two, I also found the following hospitals: Comstock, Brown Equine Hospital and Austin Equine hospital. Do you know something about them?
