Equipment Reimbursement?

For equipment reimbursement, do we need to get the Dean's Certification form filled out also, or is that just needed for books and such?

Also, if you paid by credit card, they the monthly statement showing that, do you think a copy will suffice? (I get mine online, and don't really have a paper copy)

What branch are you?

For the Army, just fill out the HPSP Cost Data Worksheet (plus receipt) for any form of reimbursement (books, supplies, insurance, etc), and get someone from Financial Aid at school to sign it.

As far as receipts go, the place you purchased from online didn't give you a receipt?
 
For the Dean's Certificate I was going to have that signed for equipment anyway, so I am unsure. I had mine signed for books but I need to send that in soon.

I think we can scan it and email it in.

Edit: Oh, you bought the books online. Did they email you a confirmation of your order?

I didn't buy the books online. It's not the books I'm unsure of, though. It's the equipment. Not all of what I got was "required" by the school, but it was reimburseable by the Navy. However, the Dean's Certification asks them to cross through anything that's not required.

I think there are ways around that. Someone told me if you get professors to sign for books that are recommended they will reimburse for that, I don't know.

It might depend on your school how they handle that then, but I was under the impression if it is reimbursable on the form than you can buy it because you'll need it later. Ask your school or other HPSP students at your school how they handled it.
 
Another Navy HPSPer here. I sent a Dean's certificate with my equipment reimbursement and I think it is required. Don't know about your Dean, but mine will simply sign for anything I ask him to. I showed him my reimbursement list and he agreed to sign for anything on it. By the way, a xerox copy of a receipt and credit card statement are acceptable. You can fax all the info to them for faster processing also. Fax# 301-295-6014
