When did you interview at Nova? Did you get your "Alternate List" letter the very next week? Sorry to hear that, I heard that Nova will not look at their "alternate list" applicants until they have interviewed everyone that they want to interview and if their class is not full! Nova will probably interview into late April (maybe even into May), so that means you probably won't hear any changes about your "alternate" status until after that! Did you have a good interview? I'm curious! Good luck to you, my friend!
