I have continued research experiences with two faculty members (separate) but did not ask for a LoR from either of them. No particular reason for that. Mostly because I have plenty of other letters. I was just wondering how big the chance of someone in the programs bringing up an issue: "If this person has worked with these people - why do they not have letters from them?" I know it's low-key application season paranoia, but could anyone chime in on this?
