ERAS: forced automatic USMLE updates?

Here's the thing

For the USMLE Transcript in ERAS
I picked
Yes for Do you authrozie the NBME to transmit your USMLE blah blah.

But
I picked
NO for Do you authorize the NBME to AUTOMATICALLY transmit your updated USMLE to all designated programs when a new Step result becomes availabl?



Now the thing is...
Whenever I use the ADTS for Tracking my App, I see that the USMLE Transcript has been updated from time to time
My "FIRST AVAILABLE IN ERAS POSTOFFICE" is 9/10/2011
Over the past couple months, I saw the "LAST UPDATED" to be changing. Last time the LAST UPDATED was "10/31/04". Today, I checked again and it says "11/04/2011"

How is that possible?

Did you apply to new programs? If so, each time you apply to a new program ERAS "updates" your USMLE, even if you chose NO for the Automatic option.

If not, then call them ask if you really want to know! Let's put our ERAS fees to work!
