ERAS "postgraduate training"

Hello,

I joined a PGY-4 Chief Resident position as I was interested in academics and applying to a fellowship. However, I left the position after 7 months for personal reasons. I ended up matching to a fellowship. However, I submitted an NRMP waiver since I had not completed the Chief Year, as I could not fulfill the obligation given my circumstances.

I am wondering if I reapply do I have to mention the Chief Resident position? I had already graduated. The above was not ACGME "postgraduate" training but rather a voluntary position, so to speak. I'd rather not address it altogether since it was a net negative experience for me. I am going to be a hospitalist in my hometown for the next year or two and then reapply.

Yeah, even though it wasn't training, it was an employed position so you'll need to list it separately.

Unfortunately, it is still considered "training" since it's a PGY-4 position
