Hey guys,

I did some research m1 year and got an acknowledgment on a peer-reviewed article for doing experiments but not an authorship. Is there a way I can put this in ERAS somewhere on the publication section?

Thanks for your help!

I think you can put in as long as your don't put yourself as an author. When they ask about it on the interview, just say that you contributed to the study but unfortunately PI had a policy of not giving authorship (insert bull**** reason here)

just my two cents

I really don't recommend putting it into the publication section - that seems to just emphasize that you were not an author and are really stretching. However, in the description of your research, you can note that your contributions were acknowledged by the authors in [insert name of publication and journal here].

Have you searched this thread for an answer? Consider perusing the ERAS/NRMP thread under "General Residency questions" http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=751255

I have a section of "publications," followed by one titled "other research experience..." I recommend you putting this in that kind of a section, not under pub's. I agree, listing it as a pub will seem like a stretch.
