Anyone had a similar situation?

When I was filling the CAF under current visa status I checked EAD.
And for "expected visa" I checked "immigrant".
That is because I'm hoping to have my green card in hand by July 2007.
(married a US citizen recently)

My question is: could anyone read it the wrong way? Like I'm expecting programs to sponsor a GC for me???
Gosh that would suck... Should I change that part maybe???

I'm so freaking out right now...

Is there anyone who had a similar situation?
Please help me with that.
The last thing I want is for a program not to look at my application because of a visa issue...

i am in the similar situation. I have my ead and my green card is in process. should select permanent residence in current visa status?

In ERAS you have to indicate your CURRENT visa type and your EXPECTED status.

In ERAS you have to indicate your CURRENT visa type and your EXPECTED status.

Now, I know exactly what that means and that is not what my question was.

My question was - can someone read the expected visa status as a visa that I want them to sponsor - just like one would put J1 if they wanted that particular type.
I checked "immigrant" because most likely by the time the residency starts I will be a LPR. But could someone read it as a request for sponsoring a GC??
