I think I remember reading recently that erasable pens were a good idea. Is this allowed? Thanks

for some reason i thought the title of this thread was "Erasable Penis"

That's funny man because I thought it said enlarged penis and then realized that it must be enlarged pen since someone studying the mcat probably wouldn't post a thread about penises.

I guess at 4 am, my mind really isn't working properly.

i think they're a good idea if you're ok with writing with them. they don't erase completely, though, so be forewarned. and the ink can be a little less fluid than say a gel pen or a liquid ink pen.

all the AAMC MCAT guide says is to have a black ballpoint pen... ive never been a big fan of erasable pens... if you touch the ink.. it comes off. smears easily, doesnt erase all the way... i really dont think they are going to be like oh look erasable pen... its so much better than the others!!! give it a T!

just go with what they say in MCAT essentials on AAMC's site... everyone else will be crossing out crap so it doesnt matter either way.... purely your decision and what you are comfortable with.
