hi all!

the book NBDE first aid has a formula of the eruption sequence of primary teeth.

I1 I2 M1 C M2
--------------
6 9 12 18 24

for the permanent teeth there r 2 formulas.. 1 for each arch.. maybe 1 table is missing for primary?
if someone can help me interpret it so it it will apply for both arch (10 teett) i will be happy..if some one know the 2nd formula please post it..

btw,
does some knows/came up with any nmonics for DA ?

tnx guys..!

another question
there is a difference bw kaplan lec note, first aid and ADA regarding the exact eruption tooh,,
i know i should go for the ADA but they give a range and not an exact time..
ex: central incisor mandibular- first aid=6 ADA 6-10 months,,

in the exam..do they ask when is 1st incisor erupts or which tooth erupts 1st etc..

if anyone of u who did the test or realsed question can tell me how tp approch this ill apreciate it 🙂

go with ada nd concentrate on the sequence rather than the time nd u can learnt average of the two figures or the 1st figure.... nething u like but do know the sequence

tnx shuntyman.. this what i thought..
btw.. i saw the term "primate space" regarding primary teeth, and i couldnt find an explanation on first aid and kaplan.. sounds familiar?
i thought it refers to the multiple gaps seen be primary teeth howerver it refers to a single gap.. can u (or someone) please clerify the term?

It is the space that was seen in primates for the accomodation of the bulky canines. The canines were bulky coz of the dietery habits. This space is mesial to canine in the upper arch ( lower canine is mesial to upper canine) and distal to canine in the lower arch. It is a single space and not distributed in the arch.

the individual spacing around all teeth is also present which is called physiological spacing.
