ERV in bronchitis vs emphysema

Hello SDN community,

I was wondering if expiratory reserve volume would go down in bronchitis and empysema? I am thinking that since Residual volume goes up, all the other values might go down.

It could go down in bronchitis but is down in emphysema.

It's not really an important or used clinical metric though.
