So, there has been a crap ton (official term) of "should I use essay edge" posts and the consensus seems to be no. Well, I suppose largely it depends who you get, but from my experience I crafted what I believed to be a great essay with the assistance of fantastic SDN users. Unfortunately SDN is busy, perhaps less focused on the actual grammar vs. structure, etc. All I can say is that my essay came a long way with SDN, but went a little bit further with the help of Essayedge. I think I dropped 120$ on it (found a coupon online somewhere) and it has since become a very strong part of my application. You have to remember, despite how good of a writer you/your friends are they are being paid to help and their business is at the mercy of doing a good job. Editing all day every day, you gotta' become good.

Anyways, my opinion is that if you've worked your butt off this much and planning on spending thousands in the medical school application process, why not drop a bit more on crafting a perfect personal statement?

That's my 2 cents, others disagree, really not that much risk for a potentially decent gain imo though.

Good luck either way folks 👍
