When I signed up for the MCAT, I marked myself as one race/ethnicity because I was unsure whether I would be considered of another race/ethnicity since my family relocated due to a diaspora (i.e., my family is not originally from the country they lived in, but they are part of that culture). After talking with my family, they said I should list both ethnicities (i.e., where my family originally came from and where they had to relocate) on my AMCAS application. Is it okay that there is this difference between my MCAT and AMCAS registration? Should I contact someone about that?
