That's how I feel today. I'm not feeling well, had a migraine earlier in the day, but the homework still has to be done, and I'm just staring blankly at my physics book. Caption in the bubble over my head would read "duhhhh...."

Anyone else feel like this every once in a while? What do you do to snap out of it?

hey Nanon!
Sorry to hear about the migraine.... i feel like that about homework all the time! miy bubble would say.. "i just read it again and looked at the answer and i still don't get it! argh!"

I definitely get that feeling sometimes.

After literally gasping through my last P.Chem problem set, I'm seriously considering if it's worth it to take this class just to get a Chem minor.

Arrrgh.

I felt too stupid for every problem set I ever had in my engineering classes.

Haha deez, I just had to respond about pchem also! In quantum I had to get in groups because I could not figure some of them out on my own. That hurt my pride a little. 🙂

I'm in pchem II right now but I got an answer key.

I feel like that sometimes. It's frustrating. 😡

Good luck with physics! 🙂

The worst is if you're in your lecture and the professor is going through something, but you can't grasp it. Everyone else is saying "Ah!" and "Oh!" catching on, but you're thinking "Wow, I thought I was smart. [Insert ass kicking].".

Thanks so much for the commiseration (sp?). I go to a university where everyone seems so confident in their intellect, leaving me noone to talk to about feeling like a tool sometimes.

I talked to my sister today who also had a tough time in college feeling that she was up to the task. I think she's brilliant. She thinks we have residual damage from childhood. She's probably right.

Well, back to the grindstone. My mother actually painted me a picture of a nose on a grindstone to put above my desk. In oils. 🙄 Definitely residual damage from childhood...

deez4life - i totally commiserate with you on p-chem! i have my first problem set due next week, and i'm struggling...😕

 It's good to see I'm not the only poor soul that's silently suffering through pchem.

What I wouldn't give for an answer key. 😛

Oh, and good luck on that problem set medhopeful. Hopefully, you won't need it.

oooohh!! me me!! I got home from physics lab this afternoon (after staying an hour late, along with the rest of my class). What's worse is that the lab write-up has to be done in the lab! Give me some time to think! And this weekend I look forward to finishing up my first physics problem set.

You know those stickers that say "Physics is fun"? 🙄

I like the one that says "Heisenberg might have slept here"
