My friend's boyfriend had an infection and went to the hospital and they told him it was serengitis(sp?) Does anyone know what this is and how to spell it correctly?

pronounced SAR-EN-JI-TIS or something like that.

i think you might get better answers if you post in the allopathic/osteopathic/pgyx forums. I'm sure somebody here will know it too, but i'd trust those guys/gals more. also try webmd.com, its hit or miss, but sometimes it helps. or type it into yahoo, alot of times it will correct your spelling for you too.
